Jolene Baldini - Studio Owner / Artistic Director

Jolene Baldini, the owner and operator of Dance Mixx Studio is a native of Lincroft, NJ, and grew up dancing at the Academy of Dance Arts in Red Bank, NJ, as well as Just For Kicks in Eatontown, NJ. Her passion lead her to achieve such prestigious roles as Sugar Plum Fairy and Clara in The Nutcracker and Aurora of Sleeping Beauty with top ballet companies. She studied in New York City during the summers at Joffrey Ballet, the Theater of Harlem, and Juilliard.

Upon graduation from high school, she was accepted to attend the Juilliard School for undergraduate studies. There, she had the pleasure of performing pieces by world-renowned choreographers such as Jose Limon, Paul Taylor, Martha Graham and Ohad Naharin. After graduation in 2003, she joined Cedar Lake Ensemble of New York City. During her four and a half years with the company, she was given the ability to tour the country and achieved soloist status.

After fulfilling her life-long dream of becoming a professional dancer, she decided it was time to share the wealth of information and experiences she had been afforded in her life. In September 2011, she opened Dance Mixx Studio in Shrewsbury, NJ, to the elation of family and friends. She is incredibly thankful and overjoyed to have the love and support of so many people who were influential in shaping her into the woman she is today.
